Helen Annetta Wilson (Toodie), 67 years of age. She was a long time resident of Sugar Creek. Helen passed away on January 2, 2015, in her sleep at home losing her battle to lung cancer. Helen was born January 15, 1947 in Wardell, MO to Helen and Bill Stone. Helen was the third of four children, Venieta, Charlotte, and Michael. Helen was married to Gary Wilson on July 13, 2007 in Independence, MO. Helen attended High School at Blue Springs High later graduating from Heavlins Collage of Cosmetology and becoming a licensed Cosmetologist/Beautician with a career spanning forty plus years. Helen lived most of her life in the Jackson County MO area. She was a Christian Woman that loved cooking and shopping but most of all friends, family, camaraderie and parties with the latter. She was a loving, caring, compassionate, very giving woman always trying to make other people happy. She is survived by; husband Gary Wilson; daughter Mechelle Davis and husband Kirk; son Rodney Brock; sister Venieta, and brother Michael. She is preceded in death by both parents and one Sibling. A Memorial Visitation will be Monday January 12, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, Missouri 64052.
