James Thomas Wilson, 75, of Independence, Mo, passed away, Monday, October 25, 2004 at his residence. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2004 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs, MO. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. James was born November 3, 1928 in Independence, MO to Thomas Edward and Reba J. (Rhodus) Wilson. He worked for Avon Products for over 35 years as a warehouse worker and later a truck driver until he retired in 1994. He enjoyed boating and riding motorcycles. He was married to Wilma L. Huckstep on March 31, 1949, she died in 1989. Survivors include; 3 sons, Edward Wilson of Grain Valley, MO, Richard Wilson of Independence, MO and James Wilson of Pottstown, PA; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a infant daughter, Patti Lea Wilson in 1949.
