William J. Wilson, 79 of Independence MO passed away at his home on Friday, July 18, 2003. Services 10:00 am Thurs., July 24, 2003 at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Mr. Wilson was born Nov. 26 1923, in Springfield, MO the son of William Francis and Edna Endley Wilson. He was united in marriage to Mildred I. Alexander and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2000. He was also preceded in death by one son, Dan Wilson, one brother, Bob Wilson, and one step-son, Larry Barker He is survived by one son, William Fox, Grandview, MO, 4 step-children, Nadine Roberts, Kingsville, MO, Delma Anderson, Gravois, Mills, MO, Lloyd Barker, Greenwood, MO, William Barker, Blue Springs, MO, two grandsons, Chris Fox and wife Missy, Raymore, MO and Jamie Fox and wife Jennifer, Kansas City, MO, one great-granddaughter, Alexis Fox, Raymore, MO, one great-grandson, Mason Fox, Raymore, MO, 11 step-grandchildren, 19 step-great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-great-grandchildren, five brothers, Bernie Wilson, Richard Wilson, Gene Wilson, Rod Wilson, Rex Wilson and three sisters, Aleta Climer, Joann Coltrane and Cleta Bosley.
