Grace "Alice� Marie Winfrey, 77, Kansas City, Mo. died March 17, 2004, at the Medical Center of Independence. Services will be 10 am, Friday, March 19, 2004 at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home; interment at Six Mile Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 - 10 am, Friday at the funeral home. Alice was born Jan. 3, 1927 and had lived in Kansas City nearly all of her life. She was an active member of the VFW Post #9997 Women�s Auxiliary. She is survived by son, William J. Winfrey and his wife, Ruby, Melbourne, FL; son, Stanley R. Winfrey and his wife, Peni, Indep., MO; brother, Paul Smith and his wife, Francis, Blue Springs, MO; brother, Buck Smith, Iowa; and five grandchildren.
