Evelyn E. Winkler

Evelyn E. Winkler, 80 of Buckner, MO passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday at the Oakland Methodist Church in Buckner, MO followed by burial in the Oakland Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Evelyn was born May 17, 1926 in Kansas City, MO to William and Vera E. (Vincent) Dimmitt and has been a lifelong are resident. She had worked as a printer for the Grain Valley Plastic Company for 13 years until she retired in 1981. She enjoyed mowing the grass and quilting. She was a member of the O.E.S. in Grain Valley, VFW Auxiliary, and Oakland Methodist Church. She was married to Ralph Winkler who preceded her in death in 1999. Survivors include; 2 sons, Guy Winkler of Lee�s Summit, MO and Cliff Winkler of Buckner, MO; a daughter, Jo Ann Tackett-Millage of Omaha, NE; 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
