Linda Wohlert

Linda Wohlert, 54, of Independence, MO passed away on Monday, November 22, 2004 at the Independence Regional Health Center. A visitation will be held from 1-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christopher S. Wohlert in care of Commerce Bank, 1516 E. US 24 Hwy., Independence, MO 64050. Linda was born on July 24, 1950 in Pittsburg, PA to Marshal and stepmother Gloria Wolhert. She was a Customer Service Representative for 22 years at the General Services Administration, GSA. She is remembered by co-workers as a very hard working, reliable and generous person, always willing to give of herself to others. Linda enjoyed cooking and crocheting in her off hours. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends, co-workers and especially her 18-year-old son Christopher. Linda is survived by one son, Christopher Wohlert; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Earl Ward; and one stepsister, Trudy Wolhert. "Mom, It�s been just you and I right from the start.
