Maebell Wood

Maebell L. Wood, 85, of Independence, MO passed away March 6, 2014. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO. Maebell was born March 18, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Malcolm Sr. and Maebell (Reimert) Linville, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Kent of Overland Park, KS and Susan Long of Provo, UT; two sisters, Nedra Martz of Prairie Village, KS and Chrisalyn Phillips and husband William of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; one brother, Malcolm Linville Jr. of Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren, Brian, Kim, Anna, Eric, Margaux and Rebekah; and one great grandchild, Kaitlyn Brewer.
