Margaret Catherine Wood, 94 of Independence, formerly of Buckner passed
away, Thu. Dec 22, 2005 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 am, Tue, Dec. 27, 2005 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO. Burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 �" 8:00 pm, Monday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Buckner. Mrs. Wood was born on Apr. 4, 1911 to Oliver and Mary Dent in Buckner, MO. She was a secretary with the Allis Chalmers Plant, retiring in 1976. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, sewing, Quilting, Rose Gardening and cooking. She was a pianist and beautiful artist having done the artistic work on the bulletin covers at her former church, Pleasant View Christian Church. Margaret loved cats and her dog, Mimi. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buckner. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman William Schall and
second husband, Charles Wood. Her survivors include two children, David D.
Schall and wife, Anne of Independence, MO and MaryLou Levy and husband,
Elliott, of Venice, FL. Two grandchildren, Kathie Grill and Lisa Schall. Three great grandchildren, Emma, Emilie and Gene Anthony.
