Wanda J. "Jeannie" Woodson

Wanda J. "Jeannie� Woodson, 70, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, January 14, 2005. Wanda was born September 28, 1934 in Fristoe, MO the daughter of Floyd and Ethel Bybee. She retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Vickie Barnum. She is survived by her husband, of 37 years, Wilbur Woodson; sons, Roger Sword and wife Pam of Oak Grove, MO, Wib Woodson and wife Sarah of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Brian Sword, Abby Woodson, and Alayna Stroup; brothers, Virgil Bybee and Jimmy McCown; sister, Mary Bowman all of Independence, MO Services will be 10 am Tuesday, January 18th at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Chapel. Wanda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was devoted to caring for, and raising many children. She will be missed by all.
