Darrol G. "Woody� Woodward, 74, Independence, Mo. died July 6, 2004 at K.U. Medical Center. Services will be 10 am, Sat., July 10, 2004, at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Friday at the funeral home. Woody was born July 1, 1930, in Greenleaf, KS. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and worked at the Armco Steel Plant for 31 years. He was a member of the Pacific Heights Congregation of Jehovah�s Witnesses. He was preceded in death by daughter, Geraldine Harper, son, Kendall W. Woodward, three brothers, and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Ida L. Woodward, of the home; daughter, Angelica M. Moorhous, Clearwater, FL; daughter, Brenda L. Carr and husband Stephen, Levasy, MO; son Jerry G. Woodward and wife Linda, Overland Park, KS; daughter, Tammie L. Van Artsdalen, Indep., MO; three brothers, three sisters, fifteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
