Homer Edward Worley

Homer Edward Worley, 82, Independence, Mo. died June 19, 2005 at his home. Funeral services in Independence will be held 10 am, Wed. June 22, 2005 at the Northern Blvd. United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Tuesday at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Funeral services in New Florence, Mo. will be held at 10 am, Thursday, at the Baker, Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, followed by interment at Hugo Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Wed. at Baker, Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in New Florence. Homer was born May 11, 1923 in New Florence, Mo. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a diesel mechanic for over forty years. He was a member of the church and is a Past President of the Men�s Club there. He was also a member of American Legion Tiery Ford Post #21. Homer was preceded in death by his son Dennis E. Worley, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Evelyn M. Worley, of the home; daughter and son-in-law Sandra A. & Ron Childers, Indep., Mo; daughter-in-law Ida B. Worley, Sugar Creek, Mo; daughter Cheryl J. Gondran, Indep,. Mo; daughters and sons-in-law Connie L. & Walter Williams, Indep., Mo; Karen K. & Tim LaMartina, Tucson, Az; three brothers, five sisters, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
