Cyrus Wright

Cyrus Wright, 84, Independence, Mo. passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Regency Care Center in Independence. Services will be 10 am, Sat. May 28, 2005 at the Noland Road Baptist Church in Independence. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Friday, May 27 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 39th St. & 291, Independence. Cyrus was born Nov. 22, 1920 in Sugar Creek, Mo. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II and a member of the church. He worked for Amoco Oil Co. from 1945 until he retired in 1991. He is survived by his wife Mary Virginia; two sons Dennis Wright, Springfield, Mo; Rodney Wright, Independence, Mo; five grandchildren Brian Wright, Kristina Cornelius, Kevin Wright, Kim Ivey, and Jason Wright; seven great-grandchildren Devan Wright, Taylor Wright, Dylan Wright, J.T. Cornelius, Keely Wright, Cameron Ivey and Madison Ivey.
