Harry Wright “Junior”, 62, of Independence, MO passed away suddenly Saturday, July 29, 2017. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055.
Harry “June Bug” was born on July 17, 1955 in Potosi, MO to Harry and Geneva (Boyer) Wright. After high school he went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree. On May 20, 1978 he married the love of his life Cherry Farel. Together they raised two children. In his spare time he liked to woodwork, golf, watch NASCAR, and be outside doing yardwork. Most of all he enjoyed time with his grandkids.
Harry will be remembered by his wife Cherry Wright of Independence, MO; son Josh Wright and wife Ti of Independence, MO; daughter Jessi Foster and husband Nick of Independence, MO; five brothers Marvin Wright and wife Judy, Carl Wright and wife Janet, Rick Wright and wife Diane, Ronnie Wright and wife Iris, Bill Wright and wife Ginny; grandchildren Hunter Foster, Bailey Foster, Miles Wright, Asher Wright, and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Jason Wright and great-nephew Zach Wright.
