Lindell James Wright, 92, of Independence, MO, joined loved ones in heaven on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Rosewood Health Center. Lindell was born August 27, 1921, in Bourbon, MO, to Robert E. and Alice (Mason) Wright. He worked as a mechanic for Jerry Hayes Ford until he retired in 1986. He was a veteran having proudly served in the US Army during WWII, stationed at both Nome and Juneau, AK. Lindell was a man of many talents. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lindell was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Pauline (Smith) in 2001 and by his brothers Isaiah Wright, Hubert Wright, Paul Wright, Jesse Wright, and sisters Thelma (Teddy) Fleming and Irene Kimber. He is survived by his sister, Berna Dallons (Jon) in California and by many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
