Gloria Yaeger

Gloria Sue (Hill) Yaeger from Buckner, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. She was 88 years old. Gloria was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Charles John Yaeger, 3 sisters, and 1 brother. She was also predeceased by her beloved grandson, Matthew Scott Yaeger. Gloria is survived by her children: Charles Scott Yaeger and his wife Patty Faye from Blue Springs, MO; Zach Yaeger from Edinburg, TX; her grandchildren: Brendon Yaeger and his wife, Becky from St. Louis, MO; and Kaleb Yaeger from Edinburg, TX. She is also survived by her step grandchildren, Mandy and Micah Stoute, and her 2 step great-grandchildren, Micah Peter and Virginia Lee Stoute, from Charlotte, NC.; and Kevin Mabry of Raytown, MO. Gloria also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews from the Dalton, GA area. Raised in Dalton, GA, Gloria was the quintessential Southern Belle … full of charm, grace, and fire. Always full of life, Gloria loved gardening, cooking, working on her geneology books, and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed antique shopping and a good cup of coffee. She will be missed by many.Gloria will be laid to rest in a private memorial service in Dalton, GA.The family would like to thank Shangri-La Rehab and Living Center and St. Luke’s Hospice for the loving care our mom received during her illness.
