Myrtle Cleo Yoder

August 2, 1912 — October 22, 2004

Myrtle Cleo (Jones) Yoder, 92, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, October 22, 2004 at Rosewood Health Center. Services will be 10 am Tuesday, October 26th at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home; with interment in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to South Crysler Community of Christ Building Fund or the Good Shepherd Hospice. Myrtle was born August 2, 1912 in Stanford, MT to Francis Albert and Amelia Frances (Mauzey) Jones. Myrtle was united in marriage July 7, 1934 to Roy Theodore Yoder, until his death on October 10, 1978. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of South Crysler Community of Christ. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; six brothers, Melvin Roundtree Jones, Earl Haydon Jones, Joseph Harry Jones, Cummorah (Casey) Francis Jones, Alexander Clarence Jones, and Melville Albert Jones; two sisters, Edna Leona Simpson, and Thelma Rose Ann Beckett. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Clapper and husband Donald, Sharen Diegelman and husband Donald; grandson, T.R. Clapper; granddaughter, Dawna Clapper; two great grandchildren, Ashley and Corbin Moore. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care given by Rosewood Health Center, especially the staff of 3 South and Good Shepard Hospice.
