Ross Lee Yohn

Ross Lee Yohn, 83, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away Friday, May 14th, 2021. A visitation will be held from 2-3pm followed by a funeral service at 3pm, Wednesday, May 19th at Lee’s Summit Christian Church, 800 NE Tudor Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64086. Interment will follow at Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery.
Ross was born on November 16, 1937, the youngest of 7 children born to Eugene and Velma (Ross) Yohn in Alva, OK. He married Judy Bingham on February 1, 1957, and together, they raised three children. Ross worked 45 years for Allis-Chalmers as a Chief Engineer. In retirement, he loved traveling, playing golf, and working in the yard. Ross was also an active member of Lee’s Summit Christian Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Judy; his children, Lori Yohn, Lynda Lang, Eric Yohn; grandchildren; Hilary (Brad) Grimmett, Hanna (Brandon) Hickel, Erica (Braden) North, Katelyn (Chuck) Bolinger, Grant (Nicole) Lang; great grandchildren, Micah, Lelynd, Laikyn, Everly and Ellasyn; his brother, Bill Yohn and sister, Lee Licktieg; as well as, many nieces and nephews who loved him. He will be missed by all!
