Edna Mae Young

Edna Mae Young, 94, of Buckner, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Edna was born on December 14, 1926, in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was one of eleven children.

Edna attended/graduated from Chillicothe High School in the class of 1944. She married Edward J. Young and together had two children, Mary, and Richard. Shortly after having Mary, Edna and Edward moved to Missouri.
Edna worked in retail sales and was an excellent wife and mother.

She was extremely creative and loved to learn new crafting skills. Edna loved to paint, sew, and making ceramics. Edna will dearly be missed.

Edna is survived by her son, Richard Young, and his wife Tris, of Buckner, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; ten siblings; husband Edward J. Young; daughter Mary Margaret Young.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, November 5th.
