Frederick Lee "Fred" Young

Frederick Lee “Fred” Young, 60, of Independence, passed away Apr 13, 2017. A celebration of life visitation will be held Thurs., Apr. 20th from 5-9pm at the F.O.P., 18300 MO-78, Independence, MO 64057.
Fred was born September 3, 1956, in Kansas City, MO to Anna Lee (White) Young. He worked since he was 14 years old in the automotive industry, specifically in auto-electronics. Fred is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bill Young. He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Pam Pierson; his three sons, Richard, Stephen and David; his brother Charles “Chuck” and his wife, Kay Jepson; sister, Sharon Norris and her husband, Bill, sister, Lucy Young, sister, Mary Gonzales and her husband, Oscar, sister Kathy Young and youngest sister, Angie Redpath; two daughters he loved as his own, Summer Doles and Jeri Miller and their children, Hunter, Gracie, Julius, and Zoe; 13 nieces and nephews; and well as, numerous great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his sons.
