Betty F. Zinser, 86, of Olathe, KS, passed away peacefully, after a long struggle with colon cancer Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Olathe Good Samaritan Center in Olathe, KS. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Monday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions to Hospice of Olathe Medical Center. Betty was born April 4, 1918 in Independence, MO to William and Hazel (Taylor) Feldmeth. She was retired from the U.S. Government where she worked for various agencies including; Department of Transportation, Department of Justice, Interstate Commerce Commission. She was a legal secretary for the U.S. Attorney in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Graceland College in Lamoni, IA. She was a lifelong member of the RLDS Church (Community of Christ) and had a strong faith in God her entire life. She was a soloist singing in the church choir and was a published writer for the Daily Bread and Herald Magazine. Survivors include; daughters, Bea Mulcahy and husband Patrick of Lenexa, KS and Lynn Brightwell and husband Robert of Lee�s Summit, MO; Granddaughters, Dana Russell and fianc� Jay Ketterling of Olathe, KS, Sue Agnew of Independence, MO, Becky Snow and husband Cletis of Blue Springs, MO, Roberta Brightwell of Kansas City, MO; great grandchildren, Bryce Kendrick, Patrick Metz, Hali Metz and Jessica Snow; nephew, Wayne Wieand and wife Kaye of New Virginia, IA and special friend Bill Schutte.
