Timothy Lane Zucca

Timothy (Tim) Zucca of Independence, MO passed peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2020. Tim was born December 25, 1951 to Herb & Opal Zucca of Independence, MO.
Tim leaves behind two sons, Larry and Jay (wife Jenn), grandchildren Madison, Katelin, Landon, Haley, Eli, and Toby. Mother Opal Zucca, brother Wyatt Zucca, sisters Marta Zucca, Colette Kingston (husband Chuck) and Keisha Zucca (husband William), plus countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Renee, son Edward and father Herb Zucca.
Tim was a Sergeant in the 418th Civil Affairs unit and proudly served in Dessert Shield/Storm.
Services will be held at Carson Speaks Funeral Home,1501 W Lexington Ave., Independence, MO on Saturday, August 22. Family will receive visitors from 9-10 a.m. with Celebration of Life service beginning at 10. Military Burial at Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO.
To help celebrate Tim’s life we request you wear your favorite NASCAR or Chiefs shirt. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
